Helene High I have worked with students in Norfolk/Grand Erie schools for the past 18 years. For most of that time I taught languages (French, English, German) at Valley Heights and, for a couple of years, at SCS. For the previous 4 years I have been working in administration as Vice-principal at Valley Heights and at Simcoe Composite. I have 3 children, 2 of whom are also teachers, and 2 grandchildren. My passions in the spare time that I have are boating, reading and, of course, my family. |

Jim Young I spent the last 16 years in the District School Board of Niagara. During that time, I was a department head of mathematics. I used to coach football, hockey, and track and field. I have also had some experience with music as I play a little guitar when I can. For recreation, I get to the gym, go for a run and play hockey whenever the chance arrives. I have a wife and two kids, so life is pretty full. |

Jean McIntyre I started working as a supply secretary. I have been at SCS as a permanent half-time employee since 2003, but I feel like I've been here for years. I enjoy working at SCS and the staff is excellent. |

Andrea Timpf Hi there. It is my pleasure to be the co-ordinator of office services for Simcoe Composite School. We have a great team here at SCS and I enjoy the busy hustle that I encounter each and every day. I have been with SCS over the past 20 years. The best part of my job happens at the end of the School year when we say goodbye to our grads and share the excitement of seeing them presented with their diplomas at their Commencement Ceremony! |

Shelly Voigt I joined the staff at S.C.S in September 1990. The first five years were spent in the main office for attendance, office/clerical and receptionist. Since 1995 I have been in the Guidance Department as Administrative Assistant. I really enjoy my work and the team I work with. We are passionate about the students at S.C.S. and try to guide them with decisions in their schooling and careers. We also have lots of fun in our department and are known to some as the Second Floor Scoundrels. I have two beautiful daughters Sarah and Ricci who also graduated from S.C.S. "Proud to be a Sabre!" |
