Funeral Arrangements for Sammy Aspden Here are the details for Sammy's funeral. Visitation will be Friday, in Burford from 2pm-4pm 6pm-9pm. The Funeral will be Saturday, in the gym at SCS, at 11am. Then we are heading to Bookton Cemetary(Sammy will be buried with her father), for the burial, then to the Norwich Arena for the gathering. It has been asked of the cheerleaders to wear FULL uniform, and follow in a procession after Sammy. It would be great to have all the cheerleaders that would like to participate, at the school in FULL uniform at 9:45am. We will meet on the football field. The family has also requested that the Hockey team and Football team be in their jerseys and everyone else wear bright colours. We are celebrating Sammy and the beauty that she is. Those members of the cheerleading team that do not wish to do so, that is FINE. Those that do not yet have a cheer uniform, but wish to participate in the celebration of Sammy's life, I am sure that some "old" girls can lend you a warm up or two! Parents, you are more than welcome to wear your Sabre parent t'shirt, if you wish. This is a funeral that is a celebration of all that Sammy was involved in, a huge part of that was cheerleading! It will be a closed casket, and donations can be made to MADD or Rising from the Ashes.
