There was a time when Scott Chambers never thought his son Kyle would ever get the chance to play hockey. Even though the South Coast Special Needs Kids Inc. president has been watching his nine-year-old play once a week in Waterford for a few years now, he has a tough time describing what it's like.
He doesn't need to though -- Kyle's face says it all.

Many people come up with new innovations and products, but few actually see them come to life -- and even fewer see them on consumer shelves.
Thanks to the Simcoe Composite School Foods and Nutrition Course's culminating project, a group of Grade 12 students got that chance.
With teacher and nutritional consultant at VG Meats Natasha Grincevicius leading the way, four class groups developed their own flavour of sausage throughout the fall semester, and were on hand at the store just east of Simcoe to give buyers a taste as part of Sabres Day on Saturday.
