France Trip 2011
The SCS French Department is pleased to announce an exciting trip from March 11 to March 19, 2011; we will explore Paris, the Loire Valley, and Normandy on an EF Educational Tour.
During our tour, we will visit many of France’s most famous landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tour and the Louvre, Mont-St-Michel, and the historic D-Day Beaches. Local guides will give us behind-the-scenes looks at Versailles, the Amboise Castle, and fortified seaside city of St. Malo.

Hats for Haiti - $6400 for the Relief Efforts

Thursday January 21, 2010 staff and students participated in Hats 4 Haiti, a fundraiser to help support the relief efforts in Haiti.
On behalf of the folks in Haiti, I am extremely pleased to report that our student body raised just over $3200 (including $1000 from students' council) on our "Hats for Haiti Day" on Thursday January 19th - which is awesome. The SCS community has once again demonstrated its impressive generosity in the face of such a disaster. These funds will be donated to "World Vision Canada" and will be used to provide the basic necessities of life for Haitians - clean drinking water, food, and medical supplies. The Government of Canada will match our donation - so $6400 will be contributed on behalf of our efforts. Way to go Sabres!
